Our story
1967
Founded in the historic centre of Vicenza by Adriano, FAB (Fabbrica Argento Bigiotteria) was born from a visionary idea, specializing in the production of hollow silver and brass watch cases. Swiss-made movements were then assembled directly in-house.

1975
The company grew into a family business with the arrival in production of Adriano’s wife, Fernanda, followed soon after by her sister to manage sales and commercial relations.

1978
Adriano recognised a new market opportunity: silver charm jewellery. The first heart and stars charms were created using stamping dies that are still preserved and used today, symbolising the company’s deep connection to its artisanal roots.

1980
The headquarters relocated from Vicenza’s historic centre to Rettorgole, on the city’s immediate outskirts, just in front of its current headquarters.

1990
The new headquarters is built, specifically designed to be a factory: production on the ground floor and offices on the upper floor.

1992
The company expanded into gold jewellery in response to changing consumer preferences, as gold became increasingly perceived as more precious than silver. During this period, the company also introduced hand-enamelled collections, initially on iconic designs such as the ladybird, distinguishing itself in a sector where children's jewellery had not yet been fully embraced.

The second generation joined the company. Davide and Mauro officially entered the business, gaining experience across every department before taking responsibility for commercial and administrative management.

2000
The ALICE brand was officially launched, soon becoming synonymous with original, finely crafted jewellery for children. true masterpieces of goldsmith art in Italy.

Today
Business continuity is guaranteed by family synergy. While Davide and Mauro oversee materials selection and business management, Fernanda remains the beating heart of production, coordinating the daily work in the factory. Long-standing relationships with customers, together with an unwavering commitment to quality, reliability and integrity, remain the foundation of FAB GOBBETTI’s success.
